Jacques Hanegraaf (°1960)
former professional cyclist (1981-1993)
Became directly in his first year as professional
cyclist Dutch champion. He also won the classics
Paris-Brussels and the Amstel Gold Race. In 1984 he was
wearing the yellow jersey in the Tour de France and won
the overall sprint competition of this race. In 1985 he
became Dutch champion for the second time. After his
active career he was responsible for the public
relations of the German team
Telekom.
For several years he was sports director and manager of
the Dutch
Farm Frites
team.
In 2005 he managed in just en few weeks time to built
the remarkable team
Bianchi
which ended with Jan Ulrich second in the Tour the
France. More recently he was the manager of the
Unibet Pro
Tour Team.
Jacques Hanegraaf has a degree in international business
management.
